How Jesus Reads Scripture

The Eight-Move Habit for Clear, Confident Bible Reading

Most believers love the Bible but often feel unsure or overwhelmed when they open it. The problem usually isn’t your faith — it’s your method.

The Ex of Jesus exists to help you read Scripture the way Jesus did: listening before speaking, honoring context, and letting the Father’s voice lead the meaning.

What is “The Ex of Jesus”?

In John 1:18, John says that Jesus “exegetes” the Father — He makes Him known. EX is short for exegesis: drawing meaning out of the text, not forcing our ideas into it.

The Ex of Jesus is about learning to let Scripture speak first, and taking Jesus’ way of reading seriously enough to imitate it.

    About the author

I’m not a scholar or a seminary professor. I’m a fellow believer who became hungry for a clear, simple way to read Scripture without getting overwhelmed.

Everything changed when I started paying closer attention to how Jesus Himself handled Scripture. His approach was simple, consistent, and surprisingly learnable. This site — and this book — are my attempt to pass that on.
